Using Portal Wallet to receive CKB

Click on "Receive" in the home page, it will display two receiving addresses, the Ethereum address and CKB address.

You need to adjust the payee address according to where are the CKB from.

In the future, with technical support from other wallets/exchanges, we will continue to simplify the form of receipt and optimize the user experience.

Why I would have two addresses

Since Portal Wallet already supports multi-chain addresses, you can use CKB address, ethereum address, ENS, etc. to transfer CKB to each other in Portal Wallet. Whereas other wallets/exchanges have less support, so you will have to adjust the status of the payee address depending on where you want to receive CKB from.

Ethereum address: The ethereum address you are currently tied to when you login, and you can use it to send and receive CKB directly in Portal Wallet.

CKB Address: Since most exchanges and CKB wallets do not yet support the transfer of long CKB addresses, when you want to use Portal Wallet, you can transfer your CKB to a CKB address and have Portal Wallet team assist you in the transfer of your assets.
